Brazilians
This website is made for any student who wants to brush up his or her English, as a second language. No question about that.
But.... being a teacher here in Brazil, I am getting more and more specialized in the problems related to using, speaking English freely, Brazilian students are dealing with. It's because of this that I am adding pages, especially aimed at Brazilian students, to the site, on a regular basis. |

I'm a Dutch immigrant in Brazil. To be more precise: in the city of Jaguariúna, São Paulo. I use to give private English classes here to students and business-managers who want to freshen up their English.
As a rule I do not present myself to them as a "teacher" but more as a person they can use to train there English speaking abilities, to overcome their fear of talking a foreign language. That's where the name "English Sparring Partner" emanates from.
As important though, is the fact that I aim to "tailor" my classes to the possibilities and wishes of my students.
