Caption: Egmond aan de Hoef [prov.of Noord-Holland] The 'Alkmaarraam' (window of Alkmaar) from the Slotkapel at the village of Egmond a.d. Hoef (a view miles west of the town of Alkmaar) The Slotkapel originally was the chapel of the Egmond Castle. It was burnt down by Protestant troops in 1574 but rebuilt in 1633.
